GLOBAL PIZZA PARTY / 5th BITCOIN PIZZA DAY PRAGUE
You're invited to PizzaDAO's 5th annual Global Pizza Party in honor of Bitcoin Pizza Day!
PIZZA SHOULD BE FREE! And this year, for the fifth time, it WILL BE FREE at Cross! This is in the name of Laszlo, the first person ever to buy something with cryptocurrencies. He bought two pizzas for 10,000 BTC.
In his honor, in 2021, RarePizzas raised over $1,000,000 through NFT sales, and on May 22nd, they're once again giving away free pizzas to people around the world.
We think that's a big deal. So in partnership with our friends at Unlock Protocol we are throwing our biggest Global Pizza Party yet! We're expecting well over 20,000 total attendees across more than 400 cities worldwide.
In Prague, Czech Republic, the Cross Club's café will be the one distributing the pizzas. The first 50 people who order a pizza at 6PM at Cross on May 22nd and say the password "BITCOIN" will receive their pizza for free, as it's already been paid for with crypto. We will also give away some cute merch for those answering quiz questions.
Over 2,000 people from around the world are involved in this project, and all the funds raised are kept in a multi-signature cryptocurrency wallet, allowing everyone to see what's being done with the collected money. This is the decentralized future, driven by the people.
This year, we are also partnering with MOLOTOW PRAHA and graffiti artists will be creating pieces inspired by PizzaDAO lore right at the spot.
